The cold weather outside was only matched by the cold feeling inside  the Rocket Mortgage Field House with no fans allowed inside at CBS Sports Classic held this year in Cleveland, Ohio.

The University of Kentucky Wildcats came out looking to build off their second half performance against their last opponent, Notre Dame.  For the most part, the Cats did just that against the #22 ranked North Carolina Tar Heels until the 12 minute mark in the second half.
UK offensive woes and foul trouble proved to be to much as the Cats fell short to UNC 75 to 63. Three Wildcats fouled out (Clarke, Jackson and Starr) leaving Kentucky short handed as the game reached the final stages.

Kentucky falls to 1-5 while Carolina improves to 5-2.
The Cats were led by guard Davion Mintz with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
Kentucky shot 40% (21-53)  from the field while struggling from the 3point arc 23% (3-13).
Camp Cal will surely be intense this coming week as #23 Louisville Cardinals prepare to host the Cats Dec. 26 at noon.
