The Brewers continue their 8 game winning streak as they defeated the Reds 3-2 in the first game of a 3 game stint.
The Reds struck first in the first inning as De La Cruz singled to center to score Friedl. De La Cruz scored on a bunt single by Steer. This would prove to be all the offense the Reds could produce for the remainder of the game as they finished with 2 runs on 8 hits.
The Brewers scored 2 in the top of the second inning as Frelick scores and Monasterio scored as Turing sacrificed into a double play. In the top of the 3rd, Christian Yelich homered to center (417 feet) to give the Brewers all they would need as he continues his 9 game hitting streak.
The Brewers would end the night with 3 runs on 5 hits and 1 error.
The Reds hope to end their 3 game slide as they take on the Brewers tomorrow night at The Great American Ballpark.
