Lisa Lake-Roedemeier has been involved in horseracing as an owner, breeder, handicapper, radio show host, and writer for almost thirty years. She was a member of the first all-female racing syndicate in America, and her love of the sport grew from there. 

Lisa taught psychology at two universities. She is the owner and founder of Madam Foo Foo Couture hat design company. Her hats are featured year-round at the prestigious Brown Hotel in Louisville. 
 
She lives in Prospect, Kentucky just outside of Louisville with her husband, Gary, and Jockey the shih-tzu.
