The Reds rally to win 4-2 and break the Brewer’s 8-game win streak on Tuesday night.
It would be the 4th inning before the Reds scored, but they tied the game after De La Cruz doubled off the left field wall and Tyler Stephenson homered to even the game.
The Brewers scored 1 run in the first as Christian Yelich extended his hit streak to 10 games with a single and another run in the 4th off of a Frelick home run.
The game remained tied until the 7th inning, when after Farley walked, Connor Joe brought him home on a sacrifice fly to right field. Benson added the final run in the 8th with a blast to left center.
The big excitement of the night came when the Brewers had the chance to tie the game in the 9th, but TJ Friedl made a leaping grab at the wall to rob the Brewers of a home run and end the game.
The Reds end the night with 4 runs on 8 hits with 1 error.
The series concludes on Wednesday with a day game.
