TEAM ALSO ACQUIRES 2021-22 SECOND-ROUND PICK

February 6, 2021 – The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to JP Macura, the returning player rights to Doral Moore and a 2021-22 second-round pick from the Delaware Blue Coats in exchange for Jordan Bone and a 2021-22 third-round pick.

JP Macura, a 6’5″ guard, spent last season with the Canton Charge where he started 33 of 39 games and averaged 17.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest. Macura played four years collegiately at Xavier University where he averaged 10.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest. He won the Big East Conference Sixth Man Award in 2015-16.

Doral Moore, a 7’1″ center, spent last season with the Delaware Blue Coats where he averaged 6.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game. Moore played three years collegiately at Wake Forest University where he averaged 11.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2 blocks per contest as a junior in 2017-18. That same season he lead the team in blocks and set the Wake Forest single-season record for field goal percentage with 68.9%.

The Lakeland Magic 2021 season tips off on Thursday, February 11, against the Austin Spurs.
