Murray State answered with a run in the bottom half of the frame.
With two outs in the seventh, Ludwick singled and Logan Thomason drew a walk. Will King followed with a RBI single to right center to get the visitors back within two, 4-2. MSU’s Ryan Perkins had a two-run triple to fuel a three-run bottom half of the seventh that put the game away.
