(Louisville, KY 10-23-21) Louisville is back over .500 at 4-3 after a home win against Boston College (4-3). Early on, It looked like more of the same that had plagued the Cards in in their back to back losses to #24 Wake Forest 37-34 and Virginia 34-33. Louisville could easily be 6-1 instead of 4-3 with a couple stops. They fell behind Wake Forest early and fought back only to fall by 3 points. The same can be said for the Virginia loss as Louisville fell behind 7-0. Against Bowling Green it was the same uh oh moment as the Cards again fell behind 7-0.

This game would be different as Louisville would score 21 straight points to go into halftime up 21-7 and would hold on for the win 28-14.

The Cardinals rushed for a season-high 331 yards in the win behind Cunningham’s 133 yards and Cooley’s 112 yards rushing. Louisville would hold Boston College to 266 yards total offense. The Cards would however commit 4 turnovers in the contest.

The Cards will next travel to N.C. State Saturday at 7:30pmand look to build on the Boston College Win.
