JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Eastern Kentucky University’s baseball team lost 6-5 at Jacksonville University on Friday.

The Colonels scored four times in the top of the fourth to go in front by two.  Will King followed a one-out walk by Jalen Jones with a single to left.  Charlie Ludwick doubled to center field to bring home the first run of the game for EKU (12-18, 3-8 ASUN).  With two outs and runners at second and third, DJ Sullivan drove in both with a single.  Sullivan later scored on a wild pitch to stake the visitors to a 4-2 advantage.

The Dolphins (22-10, 7-4 ASUN) tied it in the bottom of the fourth.  Malloy made it 4-4 with an RBI single to left.  Jacksonville took the lead with two more in the sixth, with both runs scoring with two outs in the inning.

Ludwick cut the deficit to one, 6-5, with an RBI single in the top of the sixth.  The senior finished 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs.  Will King was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.  Sullivan had one hit in four at bats, scored once and drove in two.

Malloy had a 2-for-4 day with a run and two RBIs for Jacksonville.
 
The series finale was changed to Saturday at 11 a.m.
