MOREHEAD, Ky. — Jalen Windham, a 6-5 guard from Indianapolis, has chosen Morehead State to continue his athletic and academic career. Windham transfers to the Eagle program following three seasons at Ball State and one at Creighton.

“Jalen will bring great size and shooting to our roster. He has gained valuable experience playing in both the Big East and MAC that will elevate the level of competitiveness in our practices,” said Head Coach Preston Spradlin. “His ability to space the floor with his outside shooting will fit seamlessly with our team. He joins a long line of quality players from the state of Indiana who have impacted our program’s success.”

As a fourth-year junior in 2022-23, Windham played in 30 games while averaging 5.9 points. He shot 40 percent from three-point range. Windham’s career high of 17 points came against Ohio.

He averaged 8.0 points per game in 2021-22. In his three seasons with the BSU Cardinals, he shot 77 percent at the free throw line and 39 percent from distance.

Windham began his career at Creighton in 2019-20, where he appeared in 16 games and helped the Blue Jays rise as high as No. 7 in the national rankings.

Windham was a standout at Indianapolis’ Ben Davis High School, where he was an Indiana All-Star in 2019. He helped BDHS to the Indiana Class 4A state championship in 2017 and a state runner-up finish in 2019.
