Reds bats have disappeared the last 3 games losing all via shutout to the Brew Crew. The Reds have lost 1-0, 1-0 & 3-0 in their last 3 games and have now lost 4 of their last 5 games. Andrew Abbott dropped to 4-2 despite pitching 6 innings giving up 2 solo homerun while striking out 3, while walking 2. Abbott gave up just 3 hits.

The Reds offense was non existent collecting just 1 hit against Brewers pitcher Freddy Peralta. This comes on the heels of collecting just 2 hits in Fridays 1-0 loss. Thursday night the Reds had 4 hits in another 1-0 loss. 7 total hits in 3 games isn’t what Cincinnati fans have come to expect during their hot streak.

The Reds try to get back on track Sunday in the weekend finale against Milwaukee before moving on to play the San Francisco Giants for 4 games in their current home stand. Cincinnati has fallen in to second place one game behind the Brewers.
