UK traveled to Colonial Life Arena in South Carolina and fell to the Gamecocks 79-62. It was a rough shooting night for the Wildcats and the SC defense was intense. UK trailed by 8 points at the half and it got worse from there.
UK managed only 2 assists in the first half and finished the game with 7: The Wildcats were led in scoring by Rob Dillingham with 16 points and Antonio Reeves had 15. UK only shot 4-13 from 3pt range and could never build any momentum in front of the sold out SC arena.
