The Redlegs return to Great American Ballpark hoping to secure a win and end a seven game losing streak.  The Astros answered the question with a resounding no in a 13 hit performance that silenced the 24,000 fans in attendance.  

Lodolo returned from injured reserve to start the game for the Reds with a 5 1/3 innings performance with 5 hits and 4 earned runs.

Houston would score in 4 separate innings and added 4 Homeruns by separate players to add to the fans frustration. The Reds would use 5 different pitchers in the contest to finally end the game with catcher Trevino delivering pitches as low as 38 miles per hour.  Fans were dissapointed and loudly displayed it vocally at the end of the game.l

The lone bright spot tonight was Elly De La Cruz who delivered a 2 hit performance..  

The Reds continue game 2 tomorrow of a 3 game series.
