RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University athletics will host a Colonel Caravan stop in Hazard, Kentucky on Monday, Oct. 25 in advance of the 2021-22 basketball season.  The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Big Blue Smokehouse in Hazard.

Guests will include EKU President David McFaddin, director of athletics Matt Roan, men’s basketball head coach A.W. Hamilton and women’s basketball head coach Greg Todd.

Additionally, EKU student-athletes with regional ties are expected to be in attendance including Braxton Beverly and Emma Hacker.

Upon arrival, fans are encouraged to register to receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes such as autographed items from coaches and tickets to select games.  Basketball season tickets will be on sale at the event with fans able to purchase their season tickets with an event only rate of 10 percent off regular prices.

Free food will be available, while supplies last, with individuals encouraged to buy drinks and additional meals at the site.
