Former Wildcat joins the KSCA Hall of Fame

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Former Kentucky Softball player Bailey Vick was inducted into the Kentucky Softball Coaches’ Association Hall of Fame, it was announced.

The Wildcat who hails from Paducah, Kentucky was one of the most electrifying players for UK from 2017-2020 had one of the best high school and collegiate career combinations in state history. Vick played high school softball at McCracken County HS, where she played six years of varsity softball and was All-State on the field and off the field in academics, as well.

At Kentucky, Vick had a career batting average of .335 with 165 hits, 192 games played in, 15 doubles, two triples and 36 RBI. The speedy slapper stole 45 bases and walked 37 times. Vick was hitting a career-high .556, which was second in the nation during the 2020 season, before the year was shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vick now resides in the Lexington area and works full-time for Dean Dorton Public Accounting.
