Florida Tech enters the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 for the first time this season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Florida Tech men’s soccer enter the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 after a hot start to the season. This is the first time the Panthers have been ranked in the national poll since 2019.

After starting the season 3-0-1, Tech climbed to No. 17 in the nation.

The Panthers opened the season 2-0 at Rick Stottler Field defeating Embry-Riddle 1-0 and Wingate 2-0. In week two, Tech salvaged a draw against Limestone when Jack Edwards scored the equalizer in the final minute of play. Two days later, the Panthers earned their third win of the season, defeating Francis Marion 1-0.

Tech has held their opponents to just 19 shots (4.8 per game) through four games,  allowing one goal.

The SSC is well represented as three other schools are in the Top-25, including No. 2 Palm Beach Atlantic, No. 9 Saint Leo, and No. 22 Rollins College.

The Panthers are looking to continue their success as they are set to open SSC play at home on Saturday, Sept. 10, against Barry University at Rick Stottler Field. Kick-off is set for 7pm.
