Jackson, KY 1-4-23
The Jackson City Lady Tigers are in a rebuilding year after not having a team last year. They are going to be days where their inexperience shows due to starting from scratch. The Lady Tigers, coached by Kenneth Patrick, came in to the game looking for their first win after starting the season 0-5. They were facing a Lady Cat team looking to get back to winning after a couple tough losses. Breathitt, coached by Brandon Hayes, has started off quite the opposite of what they expected, coming in to this contest 3-9 and looking to right their ship.

Breathitt jumped out quickly to a 20-8 first quarter lead with Emily Neace dropping in 12 points. Jackson tried to keep pace with Tara Strong putting up 7 points. Breathitt would out score Jackson 19-7 for a 39-15 halftime lead. Breathitt would push their lead out to 58-26 by out scoring the Lady Tigers 16-11 in the third quarter. Breathitt would close out the 4th quarter 9-3 for a 67-29 final score.

The Breathitt Lady Cats were led in scoring by #22 Emily Neace with 18 points, she was followed by #3 Riley Bush with 10, #1 Brenley Gross with 10. #13 Lexie Combs with 9, Maddie Haddix with 7, #4 Alexa Pelfrey with 4, #12 Kaylen Ritchie with 3, #15 Jerrica Neace, #23 Charlie Stacy & #33 Harper Allen with 2 points each.

The Jackson Lady Tigers were led by #22 Tara Strong with 16 points. She was followed by #15 Emily Patrick and #44 Adeline Turner with 3 points. #3 Miranda Wyrick, #1 Harley Fugate & #14 Emily Pelfrey each had 2 points. #2 Ryleigh Noble had 1 point and #13 Karigam Turner played but did not score.

Jackson City Lady Tigers fall to 0-6 while the Lady Bobcats climbed to 4-9.
