Lyon County vs. Covington Catholic 3.18.22
We start off the 3rd game of today with only two spots left in the Fina Four I’m sure that all the teams in these evening sessions will be giving it all they have to get one of those spots for tomorrow night. 1:26 left in this 1st quarter of action and so far, both teams are doing a great job at not letting any easy shots go down, that will be something that’s going to help each side as we get farther into the game this evening. Going into the 2nd quarter Lyon County is giving Covington Catholic a run for the money before halftime, only being down by 7 now 9 this is anyone’s game still. Coming out of the locker room for this second half each team is looking to lay some more work down on the court to punch their ticket into the Final Four, let’s see what each of them are able to do and what kind of game plans they drew up during the halftime break. 3:23 to play here in the 3rd quartet and Lyon County has cut the lead to only two points, this could be the energy they need to get ahead and try to come out as the winner of this match up, as we get into the last 8 minutes of play her Lyon County is up by 2 with 5:57 let’s see if they are able to grow that lead or if Covington Catholic will come back and overtake them. As we are in a timeout each section of Rupp Arena is waiting to see what will come out of the huddle for each of these teams and how they will go into action.
